On tap at Erzbierschof Zürich. Pours hazy pale peach. Citric nose, a bit sour, and unsurprisingly: Quitte. Crisp and refreshing.

0,5 l bottle from Vormann Brauerei, bottled in 2015. Cloudy, pale brownish yellow with a medium large, fluffy, quickly diminishing, white head and many beige flocs. Not really appealing. Fruity-spicy aroma of coriander, quince and citrus. Sourish taste of quince, gooseberry, citrus, wood and coriander, followed by a medium long, minimally salty, tart and dry finish. Thin to medium body, tart and spritzy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Quite sour but very refreshing and a great summer beer. Evokes the desire for more beers of this great style. Curious about the rhubarb version.

bottle from @McTapps, European Local swap 2/2015, thanks 0.5Lm 5.2%, pours pale hazy yellow/white with frothy head. Aroma of malts, some sourness, barley. Smooth taste, with a lot of nice sour notes, tart, grass and something funky. i like this one, it’s could gain some more maturity of sournes levels however, it’s already nice.

Bottle on the train from Pasing to Augsburg, from Liebick Getranke, 06/02/15. Clear golden with an off white covering that dissipates then retains. Nose is light citric peel, lemon rind, herbal notes, straw, spice, balsa wood. Taste comprises lemon rind, light salt licks, seaweed, damp straw, soured citric sherbets, hint of caramel sweetness. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with tangy citrics and gentle puckering. Solid refreshment engine.

Willrunforbeer shared this 500 ml. Aroma is just as refreshing as the flavor. Great taste of light salt, straw/ wheat/ grain body with a refreshing light lemon toward the back end. Salt is a light character which I prefer. Highly drinkable and could be a fine summer quncher
