Tap @ Borefts Beer Festival 2015. Pours pitch black with a creamy small brown head. Aromas of licorice, dark berries, blueberry candy, malt, roast, chocolate. Taste is licorice, malt, roast, dry chocolate, blueberry candy.

Tap @ Borefts 2015. Deep dark brown color. Roast, chocolate and a hint of blueberry in the aroma. Malty sweet, soft roasty flavor with blueberry. Velvety mouthfeel. Nice.

Big light brown fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sour-ish fruity, earl grey tea, dark malts, weeds, grass, berry skin, licorice, hay. Taste is slightly sour-ish, berry skin, grass, dark malts, licorice, minerals, blueberries, weeds, hay, roasted grain,earl gray tea. Medium bitterness, slightly sour-ish and watery mouthfeel. Fair enough, kind of interesting though.

Draught @ 7th Borefts Beer Festival 2015, Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As Upright Blueberry Stout ].Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolaye, blueberry. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, chocolate, blueberries. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150926]

Draft at Molen. Dark pour. Aroma of berries, tart and roast. Nice taste of sour berries, tart, coffee, roasted malt and a bitter finish.

From tap. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is dense malty and blueberry. . Smooth fruity and dark roasted malty. Breadish and blueberry finish.

Very aromatic, floral. The taste is initailly quite bitter perhaps from the blueberry fruit pits. It’s very floral, almost like a traditional Dandelion & Burdock drink.

Borefts VII. Day 1. Keg, in the old Mill. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light and crisp. The dark malts are mildly sweet. Big fruity fresh blueberry ensues. Light finish. Simple stuff but quite drinkable.
