On tap at Café Derat. Milky dark yellow colour, white head. Aroma of banana, hint of yoghurt, yeast, grain, wheat. Flavour is medium-sweet, wheat, grain, yeast, some banana, wheat in the light bitter finish. Light-bodied.

500 ml screwcap bottle, from the Poetzsch store on the German-Danish border, near Kruså / Flensburg. ABV is 5.5%. Hazy straw coloured beer, large white head. Typical sweetish hefeweizen aroma of ripe and over-ripe bananas and cloves (more banana than cloves), but fairly moderate. Refreshing flavour as expected, with a slight acidity. Banana and cloves again, but not as distinct as in the better hefeweizens. Not very sweet, and the mouthfeel is somewhat watery. Not the best hefeweizen in the world, but not the worst either.

50cl bottle @ home, thanks Tomaz for bringing it from Berlin. Dorée, trouble, col épais crèmeux. Arôme malté cara/weizen, levure Hefe avec une pointe d’épice. le tout sur un bouquet fruité; citron et orange. En bouche, levure et ester laissant une fine trace de banane, houblon est léger, gardant une pointe de citron pour amertume. Malt bavarois en bouche, qcq épices et un fini léger en caramel.

Bottle from local grocery store in Kiel, Germany. Hazy golden colour with a white head. Mild and frsh aroma with some yeast, wheat and light banana. Mild but rich flavour. Moderate wheat, some yeast, light banana and a fresh citric note in the background.
