Our Pale Ale is inspired by the great hoppy interpretations of the style from California. A clean, simple malt bill is supported by big whirlpool and dry hop additions of Cascade, Columbus, and Citra, giving the beer bright, citrusy and tropical aromas.

Can from Natural Lawson. Bitter, excessively so for me. Bit of citrus, quite earthy, but feels a bit like an exercise in blandness. Not sure why it's being imported to Japan. Least it was fairly cheap. Leaves a bit of a long bitter sting in the mouth with little trace of an interesting taste. Not much body either.

Canned 22.11.18. An orange beer, a head is medium and white. Aroma has grapefruit, mandarin, also some smooth mango. Taste has grapefruit, mango, almost medium bitterness. Not so fresh as should be. Only light+ bodied, should be stronger. Some tuning would be needed, but quite ok.

330ml can, 5 days out of date when opened on 7th June 2018. Poured into a straight sided 16 oz glass from the Good People Brewing Co of Birmingham, Alabama. Slight haze to the golden pour, wispy white affair for a head. Hop front to this in both the nose and taste, piney, citrusy and dank, all in one big pot! Liked it.

Fourpure American Pale Ale 5% After the mango even keel it is nice to have a straight up APA. Classic c-hops aroma featuring citrus with light pine as well. Medium bodied with a chewy malt character and a balanced hop flavor profile that matches the aroma. A good 540¥ Seijo Ishii beer... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Drank from the can. Smell is mild, bit US style hoppyness, but not overly intense. Taste is nice, ful crispyness, aromatic hops, medium to medium low bitterness. Bit tropical, mild stonefruits. Easy drinkin. medium body and carbo. Very well made, very nice style example.

Fluffy white head left a cover on a clear, lightly carbonated golden body. Big aroma of citrus, zest, grapefruit & melon. Medium bodied, crisp, & prickly on the palate with a clean back. Grapefruit, pine & spices tastes with & a peppery finish.

Can at home. No glassware used because the dishwasher is broken. Sweet malts, lots of grassy hop, hay, oats, some hard to define sweet fruitiness, bit like a combination of a really ripe pear and peach. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. --- Beer merged from original tick of American Pale on 19 Dec 2017 at 21:42 - Score: 7. Original review text: 3.5

Can at home in Beer Hawk advent calendar. My notes are as follows: no real head or carbonation, hops, pleasant but no real character to the beer. Overall it was perfectly pleasant but completely forgettable. A comment that I make about may Fourpure beers.
