Our Pale Ale is inspired by the great hoppy interpretations of the style from California. A clean, simple malt bill is supported by big whirlpool and dry hop additions of Cascade, Columbus, and Citra, giving the beer bright, citrusy and tropical aromas.

Can from a local Tesco. Light to mid-gold, clear with a quickly disappearing off-white head. Mango, resin, grapefruit and pineapple in the aroma. Bitter taste with a savoury, almost meaty note. Hmmm. Significant bitterness in the long finish. Light body. I don’t care for all of Fourpure’s beers but this was spot on.

Can. Slightly hazy golden beer with a decent white head. Smells of sweet, grassy hop. Taste is drier. There’s a hint of the fruity sweetness but it’s mostly floral, grassy, citric, hoppy. Crisp and refreshing and there’s a lingering touch of the roasted malt it touches on in the description, which is something a little different for this sort of pale ale.

Amber color, white head with good duration and lacing. Aroma has notes of resins with herbal hints. Flavor is bittery, fruity, notes of tropical fruits and light tangerine. Bittery final with some dry mouthfeel.
