Tap @ Borefts Beer Festival 2015. Pours pitch black with a small dark brown head. Aromas of labre larver (danish caramel licorice), fudge, vanilla, sweet chocolate, malt. Taste has lots of labre larver, licorice, chocolate, vanilla, malt, fudge, roast. Digging this alot!

Tap @ Borefts 2014. Black. Vanilla, malt and chocolate in the aroma. Malty flavor with roast, oak, vanilla, grassy notes. Full bodied. Alcoholic, but with a velvety mouthfeel. Very good.

Borefts Beer Festival 7th edition day 1 25/09/2016. An opaque jet black coloured pour with a lasting tan head. Aroma is milky coconut, brown sugars, creme caramel. Flavour is compose of toasted coconut, milky chocolate, little woody roast. Palate is full, sticky, velvety, moderate smooth carbonation. Lovely.

Draught@SBWF2015. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is fruity, some roasted malts, mild wooden and liquorice notes to it. Flavour is nutty, some vanilla, liquorice and some mild ashy and roasted notes. Hides the alcohol rather well.

On tap. Pours black with moderate ran head. Aromas of big rich chocolate. Flavors of dry dark chocolate powder, dry roasted malts, vanilla, and treacle. Did I say dry? Excellent.

Black with lasting head. There’s some liqourice in the aroma. Flavour is very dry and a bit alcoholic. Very rich and oily.

Sample at SBWF. Pitch black beer with a brownish head. Malty caramel aroma with chocolate, licorice, cocoa and vanilla. Roasted flavor with vanilla, chocolate, cocoa and raisins. Warming boozy finish.

Borefts VII. Day 1. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is amazingly light. It’s also dry and crisp. Good dark chocolate and a little malt cream. Bourbon biscuits. Tangy dark fruits. Light dry finish. Amazingly light.

Draft. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, alcohol, and chocolate, leading to a dry roasted finish.
