Old rating from 20-02-16 - 330ml bottle. Bavarian Summer Ale brought back from Berlin on my recent trip. Pours a hazy bright golden colour with a white head. Aromas are rich in fruity hops, citrus, mandarin, orange & peach. Flavour of crisp fruity hops and as in the aroma citrus, mandarin, orange & peach present as well as signs of grapefruit & grains. Fairly light bodied with a soft carbonation. Aftertaste has a mix of the fruits above with a moderate bitterness. Overall, one I really enjoyed.

Hell und trüb im Glas. Süß und trocken in der Nase. Geschmacklich tritt die Süße dann gleich 2 Schritte zurück. Fruchtnoten dominieren. Zitronensaft, Zitronenschale, Grapefruit, Melone, Nadelbaumharz. Noch nicht zu hopfenbitter. Für ein Bier mit nur 3,8 % Alkohol hat das durchaus Substanz. Recht süffig und erfrischend.

Bottle ( 3.8%, @local organic market): Golden, hazy to cloudy, medium-sized white creamy head, mild but distinctive dryish piney and (exotic-) fruity nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, not too light bodied and quite soft; lingering bitter-hoppy (same flavours as above) finish with a late balancing malty sweetness. Decent drop...

330 ml bottle. Pours unclear pale orange with a fluffy head. Grassy notes, orange, tangerine, pale malts, a bit lemon, some metallic notes, some floral herbal notes. Light hoppy bitterness, minimum sweet. Light bodied, soft carbonated, dry finish, watery texture. Refreshing and sessionable.

Bottle. Pours hazy light straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops and citrus,mwith malty and estery notes. Bitter, hoppy and cotric flavour with estery notes and sweetish touches of malt. Mild hints of fruit. Bitter and estery aftertaste. Not bad, rather clean and enjoyable.

Bottle, 4.2%. Weak but refreshing fruity hop aroma. Cloudy golden colour. Big stable white head. The flavour is fruity, creamy and dusty. Has a mild paper note, but that suits the beer. Late floral hop note.
