Notes from early 90s. Had this shortly after release (ABT Beer o/t month). Tap & bottle. Clear amber color. Aroma: malty sweet, dried & red fruit. Light flavor, fairly neutral, tap slightly sweet. Medium bodied. Moderate bitter finish. Not too bad for the VBBR/Oranjeboom beer that it was then.

Strong blonde ale, apparently not made anymore but well-known in its day. Firm, rocky head, deep ’old gold’ colour, clear; sweet profile, candied fruits, even a bit sugary and artificial, vanilla, soft maltiness with sharpish spicy notes and tingling mouthfeel. Unusual but I do remember it as being moderately enjoyable.

A fruity, sweet, grainy, bit alcoholic golden blond ale with a bittersweet slightly metallic finish. Not outstanding.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Sweet grainy and alcoholic nose with some mild fruityness. Flavour is very much the same with some grainyness and grassyness added. Is this the Malt Liquor of ales?

Bottle thanks oh6gdx: Poured a golden color with white head. The aroma was fruit almost wine, with fair amount of alcohol. The taste was dried fruit with slight hops.

Bottle, 7% Very fruity, slightly rough and yeasty aroma. Dark golden colour, small white head. Sweet, fruity flavour, also quite yeasty. OK bitterness in the finish. Actually well-balanced, though by no means spectacular.

(bottle) Deep golden colour wit a medium foamy white head. Sweet malty nose with fruits (apricots, peaches) and alcohol. Sweet flavour, sweet honeyish malty and fruity taste with an alcoholic but rather thin finish.
