Draught Dense yellow head, stable, over faintly veiled orange-golden beer. Toasted malts with some hops, "beery" nose, bit indifferent. Again toasted malts, bit "hot", faint bitterness, vegetable, overlying a serious malts' dose. Feels much better carbonated than it looks. Light to medium body, bit slick. Easy drinking beer, but (seen the origins...) of better standard. If in the neighbourhood... 6/4/7/3/14

Draft at Korsakov, where else? Clearish golden color fluffy bright white head. Straw aroma. Taste is peppery straw. Nice.

Draft at Korsakov, Antwerp. Cloudy orange with a big white head. Aroma of citrus, orange peel, fruits and dull cardboardy grain behind. Flavour is moderate sweet and over moderate bitter. Medium bodied with a juicy hop coating palate and above light carbonation. Pretty decent!

Tap at korsakov. Pours unclear blonde. Good white head. Smell is nice and malty, rather intense hoppyness. Taste is bitter , good hoparoma, citrussy, refreshing. In my opinion a tad more bitter and les aromatic than gollem ipa

The house beer of the Korsakov pub in Antwerp - they even have a tumbler glass with the logo of the pub on it to serve this beer in. Very thick, creamy, frothy, dense, thickly lacing, very stable, cream white head over a hazy peach blonde beer. Aroma of dried flowers, straw, coriander, dried orange peel, dried apricot, toasted white bread, dry nettles, dust. Crisp, mildly fruity onset, dried apricot, some green plum and pear with a light umami accent of green olive, strong and minerally carbonation, very lightly metallic but mostly bready middle with pleasant pale malt sweetishness, long drying, bitter finish with a good deal of European noble hops, floral, earthy and a bit spicy, perfectly balancing the whole. Very agreeable quencher, but in terms of style, this has more in common with a saison than with an IPA, if you ask me.

Aftertaste: bit floral, very bitter, grapefruit, piny, citrus, some pineapple, sweet touch, caramel, resinous notes, damn good beer!!
