250 ml. draft @ Korsakov. I have actually been here a few times but I always set up on the terrace. Interior was a pleasant surprise for me, absolutely lovely. Service was rather odd in my opinion. Anyway, hazy orange, creamy white head that looks like a desert landscape looking at its relief. Nose is pleasant fruity hops, apricot & peach with pleasant sweeter Belgian yeast that is present but doesn’t dominate, adding a sweetish dough note,… As far as the taste is concerned the beer shows a more grass-like bitterness, you still get some sweetish peach & apricot hops, white bread dough, sweetish, pleasant and not too heavy, rather dry despite the yeast presence, plenty of bitter grass,… For a beer with this much Belgian yeast presence in this style it works surprisingly well,… A very good example of a Belgian IPA as far as that is an actual style. A very solid house beer to put it mildly.
