Mooi donkerbruin bier met schuim. Gedronken van het vat in Zaventem restaurant Mariadal. Smaak is licht btter licht zoet met ietwat caramel. Is vrij licht van body en drinkt makkelijk weg.

33cl bottle. Pours clear orange brown with a big tan head. Aroma of dark fruits, herbs, roasted malt, nuts, some hops. Taste is sweet malty, chocolate, caramel, some yeast.

(BRABANTE OSCURA) Marrón rojiza. Espuma poco duradera. Aroma a malta tostada. En boca parecido, Malta, algo de café y un final seco, dentro de un tono general algo aguado que estropea el conjunto. De todas formas se bebe bien.

33 cl. bottle @ restaurant Eten en Drinken, Geldermalsen. Clear brown with an off-white head. Caramel aroma. Sweet malty taste. Too simple and thin Abbey dubbel. Quite boring actually.
