Can at home in London with Lyoli and Mirela. Pours clear gold, highly effervescent with a small, white cream head. Light grainy cereal malt nose. Medium sweet flavor, some sugary bread, bit of cereal grains, very melow hay. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation. Sweet finish, lightly syrupy grains, some hay, white bread. It’s a simply, sugary and cheap lager. Nothing to rave about, but it’s an easy drinker.

Canned, 0.50l. Clear pale golden color with large frothy white head and small, but lively bubbles. Aroma of grassy hops, malt, bread and mild citrus. Taste starts sweet malty, then followed by long lasting hoppyness which is gradually losing its strength. Mouthfeel is not as plain as expected, would say it’s quite rich for such beer. Medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. I was positively surprised with this one...

Can from a local shop in Brixton. Decent enough Polish pilsner lager with a fine and true aroma, flavour and taste.

Pours a pale straw with very limited head. Aroma is lightly lemony, with some malt graininess. Clean, crisp but a touch thin.

Bottle at Carter’s Bar, Edinburgh. Pours light golden with a thin head which disappears after a while. The nose is a bit elusive but there isn’t much malt, maybe more gentle citrus. The taste is thin and citrus on the end. The palate is actually good as although it is thin and close to water in texture it does deliver refreshment on the end and is therefore very drinkable. Overall, there are worse pints of pissy lager out there, that’s for sure!
