2007-09-21, draught at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007 as Vanuxeen Belgo Pils, 5-2-5-2-10=24
Light blond color. Very common Pils, a bit sweetish.

2007-08-01, draught in Bruxelles, 6-3-5-3-12=29
Blond color. A simple Pilsner, but with a light fresh Saaz aroma and flavor; just too weak at the end.

25cl bottle from Noel Cuveliers. Pale gold, thick white head. Bit thin and tasteless. Some hop and carbonated metallic bite on teh finish, but mostly poor.

Light golden pils with a thick foamy white head. Typical pils aroma, lightly hoppy. Lightly sweet malt with faint hops. Fresh but unremarkable. Light bodied.

Very pale yellow, not much head. Sweet lemony hoppy nose. Sweet malty with grassy hops. Another bulk lager.

(Bottle 25 cl) Pale golden with a rather pretty head. Not only a rather strong pilsener but also one of the more refined with an almost perfumy palate. Everything kept in balance by a good hop-bite. 200997

Bottled. A yellow beer with a small white head. The aroma is sweet malty and so is the flavor. For me the flavor is too sweet - it’s almost sticky in the mouth. [4/3/4/3/7=2.1]

Updated on draft as Belgo Pils made for Belgobaren, at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007. A golden beer with a thick orangey head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malty and hops as well as hints of hay. The flavor is sweet with a hoppy note, leading to a dry hay finish.

Straw-coloured, crystal clear; huge thick white head, very stable. Faint bitter hopnose, flowery, grain. Very bitter head, concentrates the hopflavours very much - maybe some iron. Quite bitter pils, fine hopbitterness with a good maltbase with just some sweetness left. Light bodied, not fizzy. This is the proof that an industrial pilsener can be quite allright.

Bottled. Golden coloured with average head. Raisiny malt aroma. Sweet and lightly grassy with clean, yet soft, mouthfeel. Some bitterness. A decently well made lager, but without character.
