500ml bottle from trade with Erzengel. Many thanks mate! When I first saw this I thought it was brewed with 'Club-Mate' the German caffeinated ice-tea drink. But as its made with mate tea anyway, I thought it'd taste similar. It doesn't. Pours a misty gold, no remaining head. Aroma is herbal, some sherbet. Taste is similar with an off-putting chemical, herbal, vegetal finish that's hard to describe. Some boiled lemon sherbet sweets emerge. Good idea to experiment with, but never destined to be a core range beer.

Caña en el Lúpulo Oviedo 05..12..2017. (r44). Color amarillento velado con espuma blanca persistente. Sabores Cítricos y herbáceos secos al final. Cuerpo ligero fácil de beber. Bastante original, fiel a la marca. Buena.

500ml capped bottle. BB 05.01.18. Should have checked the rates. Low carbed, thicker slick body. Seems like it really is underattenuated. The mate is just weird herbal. Mate is like dirty leaves, not in the good way. Light tartness but a general fail. 626211

Trainride to LIBF 17. Thnx for sharing ! Pours unclear blonde, small white head. Smell is rich, intense, spice ( maté ) Bit sharp. Taste is sharp, herbal, earthy, dry. not my thing.

Sampled from bottle at kermis’ German trophy tasting. Clear golden with almost no head. Sour grain, sad armpits, plastics, stale tea. Light sweet, salty and tart. Bottle shared. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of elastaplast, tea, citrus and herbs. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Thank you! Antwerpen Beer Crew. 500 ml. bottle sampled @ train ride pre-LIBF 2017. First things, first I do not like Mate so there is that. Pale golden, little white head. Nose is weird vegetable oil, mineral, low lacto. Taste is weird spoiled lemon, mineral, vegetable oil, big spoiled lemon lacto with nasty mate in the back, low on mate but it is there clearly in the finish. Body is spoiled, low sweet. Not a fan, seems like others here liked it even less than I did.
