Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is dark malt, caramel, liquorice, mild roast, slight hint of coffee. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium with a sticky mouthfeel. Not bad per se, just more Brand mediocrity, not much of a Porter really.

Bottle at L.I.B.Leiden: Very dark brown colored brew with an nicely dry bitter taste, hints of chocolate and roasted malts in an mildy an commercial way.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Caramel and roast in the aroma and flavor. Licorice. Sweetish. Drinkable, but lacks depth and character.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing. Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass dark brown, small head. Starts dry-malty, quite roasty, notes of coffee. Light hints of coconut. Well balanced finish. Roasted-malty aftertaste. Nice!

Süßlich schokoladiger Geruch. Im Antrunk dann schokoladig aber eher trocken als süß, etwas herb, deutliche Röstnoten. Weiche milde Bitterkeit, der Schokoladenton nimmt ab. Weich, steigend herb, ausgewogen, kurzer Nachhall. 10/9/10/10/9/9

Malty dark nose. The beer starts dry and malty roasted. Intense with a nice and very dry back. Sessionable with a malty and moderate bitter dry roasted aftertaste. Round and sessionable dry bitter roasted. Nice.

Bottle from an Albert Heijn in Bruges. Pours hazy dark brown with a bubbly, frothy, off-white head; little lacing. The aroma contains candied dates, raisin & figs, caramel, coffee roast, 'coffee pad coffee' with some iron, beef stock. It tastes light malty sweet, hints of dark chocolate & nuts, and light roasted (coffee-like) bitter, a light sour (dark fruity) back throughout. Shortish, rather empty finish, roasted & nutty. Light body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Actually not that bad, it managed to deny my preconceptions.
