Big on hoppiness: both in aroma and taste with citrus and floral notes. Also big on mouthfeel. Bitterness is balanced by classic U.S. IPA malt backbone.

Barwa bursztynowa, gęsta drobno pęcherzykowa piana, słaby lacing. W aromacie mango, lekkie cytrusy. W smaku bardzo dominuje grejpfrut, za nim inne cytrusy. Duża goryczka. Bardzo pijalne.

Bottle from Tanakaya. Pours a slightly hazy orange gold with a one-finger head of foam that lasts mostly throughout. Pine and grapefruit on the nose with some orange and malt as it warms. Average carbonation and average body with a slightly pillowy mouthfeel. Pithy iyokan-like finish with lingering bitterness. Nice enough. --- Beer merged from original tick of Weird Beard Five O'Clock Shadow on 19 Nov 2015 at 21:23 - Score: 7

(Draught at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 26 Aug 2015) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with citrus, orange peel and crystal malt. Malty, fruity taste with notes of orange peel, grapefruit, caramel and a generous citric bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with balanced sweetness. A bit one-dimensional, but really tasty and well made. Nice one.

330 ml. bottle drank @ Billie’s Bier Kafétaria. Bottled on 03/15. Batch 0171. Pours very hazy orange, big white head. Nose is very murky orange peel, very dry, dry fruits bitter with lots of yeast. Taste is harsh bitter with no balance & plenty of yeast, raw bitterness almost reminiscent of quinine tonic, very bitter dry aspirin, dried peel & big yeast. Just harsh & overly yeasty really. Dough. Body is overly bitter & dry + overly yeast. Heavy yeast, gives it yoghurt-like yeast. Not sure if age plays a big role or it just wasn’t my thing. It still had a long way away from the BBF date.
