Named after a serene Coronado shoreline where locals soak up sun and suds. This easy-drinking IPA will transport you to a tropical paradise the moment it hits your lips. Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe and Southern Cross hops provide flavors and aromas of tropical fruits and sun-kissed citrus with soft accents of nectarine and peach.

12 ounce can from Woodman's Appleton, 7/28/20. A bit of a gusher. Hazy orange, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of dank, orange, grapefruit. Taste is pale malt grapefruit, orange, caramel malt, and a hint of plastic. I see on the bottom of the can it was canned 1/19/2018, so it's almost 2 years old even though I bought it last week. So, despite some mild infection notes I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. Seems like it'd be an excellent beer if fresh. It's not a 3.8 as a i rated it, but giving it some leverage. It could be that. Overall still decent.

Bottle from 100 Piv Sweetish, tasty IIPA. Kind of reward after long day at whatever you were doing, I find it worth looking forward to it. Juicy citrus character accompanied with hops and not that visible alcohol makes it great sipper.

Coronado Stingray IPA Bottle, 0.355l. Hazy orange pour, one finger frothy off-white head, long lasting. Lots of lacing on the glass. Peppery, grassy nose paired with a tropical fruit mix. Medium to full body. Soft carbonation, thick and creamy texture. Mildly bitter taste, quite tamed. Herbal aroma, grassy and grainy with some peppery notes. Malty backbone. Good fruity character with lime, grapefruit and tropical fruits. Juicy. Dry mouthfeel, well hidden alcohol. Medium lasting finish, mildly bitter. Overall, decent and refreshing but feels a bit bland and one-dimensional. Worth a try, though.

Bottle, 355 ml, at Pivoteka. Almost clear golden, white head. Stinks, some weird aromas, malty, vague citrus, medium bodied. Quite bland and seems long dead. What happened here?

355ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Condensed, citrusy hoppy aroma, notes of lemon and lime, an almost sweaty touch of resin. Taste is citrusy and resinous hoppy, initiall notes of lemon and lime give way for sweaty resinous notes, malty basis with a marzipan touch.
