Old rating from 15-04-16 - 330ml bottle brought back from Italy. Pours a dark clear amber colour with a white head. Aromas of malt, roasted caramel & bread. Tastes of roasted caramel, bread, herbs, toffee & sweet malt. Aftertaste is long in a somewhat sweet bitterness.

It is not a bad bock, really light for the style, a bit smocked, malt, touch of caramel at the final sip, few hop, well balanced, 17.02.2018, drinking it in Prélaz, buying it probably in Domodossola.

Bottled. Pours deep, clear golden with thick, quickly disappearing head. Sweet malty-grainy aroma with hints of honey, nothing overwhelming, but not bad either. Its taste is weaker though, sweet and smooth, but that’s that. There’s some slight bitterness and metallic notes to the finish. Light to medium bodied, its carbonation is average. Mediocre but drinkable.

Bottiglia. Arco olfattivo dominato dall'orzo tostato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è giallo ambrato. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è normale e la permanenza è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Al palato prevalgono impressioni di caramello, miele, frutta secca, pane tostato e agrumi.

Bottle at home. Aroma is sweetish pale malt, grain, sugary notes with a touch of cardboard and dusty hops. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Lame beer.
