Enjoy the summer with fresh Oettinger Weissbier and the tropical taste of pink grapefruit! Oettinger Weissbier & Grapefruit is very popular with young consumers who like to enjoy the fancy and unique mix of 50% Oettinger wheat beer and 50% grapefruit-flavored soft drink. Oettinger Weissbier & Grapefruit is fresh and prickly and has a relatively low alcohol content of approximately 2.5%.

Bottle, 2.5%. Sweet grapefruit soda aroma. Cloudy red orange colour. Very small white head. The flavour is sweet with some grapefruit soda. Not as sweet as a soft drink, though, so I guess in that way it is better.

[33cl bottle] Cloudy, deep orange colour with a medium-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Moderately sweet and slightly acidic nose with distinctive notes of grapefruits and a restrained wheat-malt character far in the background. Sweet flavour with a slick acidic tartness, light bodied. Initially crispy, like grapefruit-flavoured soda pop but later pretty stale mouthfeel. Sweet and slightly tart fruity finish. The Schöfferhofer Grapefruit Weizen once worked for me, but this one does not [08.I.09].
