Girardin - sint ulriks kapelle kriek – Enjoyed at the 2012 Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation. This is an unblended Lambiek direct from the brewery. Served in 2 ounce pours.
A - deep red like a Pinot noir. No haze or carb
S - cherry cheesecake. Noodles and rice. Graham crackers. Black cherries.
T - Oh hell yes. Cherry cheesecake!!! Whipped cream. Almonds. But very mud like finish. Barnyard funk and shoes
M - 20% carb. Slick and heavy body
O – 5/5 all the way. The delicious cherry cheesecake taste with a creamy finish was nice!

Tap @ FairBar. Deep red with no head. Aroma is cherries, almond and a little tart. Flavour is cherries, almond, medium dry, little sweet and a little acid.

A nice fruity flavor and sourness. Color is dark red with a fading white head.

Tap / beer in a box @ Fairbar. Pours dark red with a small offwhite ring of foam. Aroma of cherry, marcipan, almond, light wood and a little sourness. Flavor is rather sweet with cherry, almond, marcipan, cherry stones, and a very light sourness. Thin body, flat carbonation. Could have used a little more sourness, but thats proberly due to the freshness of the beer. 011112

Draught. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Red colour. Light malty and hoppy powerfull cherry aroma. Not that sour. Moderate bitter moderate sour flavor with nice satrong kriek notes. Average light bitter finsh. A little thin to be great. Oily palate.

Cask at GBBF - 08/08/12. Clear blood red with little in the way of head. Intense cherry aroma, and a little tartness, sweet smelling. All about the cherries again in the taste, although not as sweet as the nose indicated, good balance of tart/sweet/sour. Medium bodied, little if nothing in the way of carbonation.

tap at gbbbf 2012 ... pink red ... thin pink lacing ... soft huge cherry nose ... mellow fruit ... tart but not sure ... soft cherry ... but not doing anything for me

Tap @ De Heeren van Liedekercke. Hazy dark red with a pink head. Aroma is sweet, malty and cherries. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate acidic. Dry and moderate acidic finish. High drinkability. 20072012
