From a 10 litre box brought over by Phil l and drunk in a garden in Ramsgate on American Independence day. Sweeter than I imagined. Really bright red cherry colour. Not as funky lambick-y as I imagined. Tons of cherry fruit. Not overly acidic or harsh on finish. Excellent fruit. I drank quite a bit of this as it was just the right level of funk interest and real fruit flavour. Fantastic. Re-rate Warm Water, Brussels on tap. My god, this was the beer of the day of running around Brussels bars. The funk was just right, the fruit bright and real and the drinkability just way too good. One of my beers of all time.

2009-10-09, bag-in-the-box at Ølbutikken, Copenhagen, 7-4-7-3-14=35
Hazy ruby color. Light cherry aroma. Quite flat, with light carbonation, a bit astringent, and probably not fresh; light fruitness; short final. Something’s strange.

2008-05-29, bag-in-the-box at Plan B, Copenhagen, 7-5-7-3-14=36
Hazy ruby color, no head. It has a moderate cherry aroma. The mouthfeel is unusually round, with a moderate tartness and fruitness, and some residual sugars. Less aggressive than expected.

Very nice, balanced cherry aroma, with cherry kernels. Quite sweet, reasonable, not impressive, but well made.

Draught. Dark ruby red colour, not much head to mention. Aroma is butterish cherry wth some slight hints of caramel. Flavour is sour wood, caramel, cherry and a bit wineous hints. I liked it, a lot!

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm) Colour is deep red, like a red wine, very little head and almost still. Nose is fruity and nutty with a fresh cherry character, well balanced. Taste is fruity with cherries and almonds, very good balance between the sourness and the slightly sweetish fruitiness. Very drinkable, with a lovely cherry character.

Reddish. Some balsamic but with voluptuous fruits. Light balsamic on the palate, too, and the palate is overall fairly sweet, which was my experience last time I had this beer five years ago. Light earthy notes.
