This mead is the Non-Imperial version of our Imperial Funky Monky. A smaller mead, but big on flavor. Tart Balaton cherries, honey, and Styrian Golding hops.

Bottle. Pours with a deep yet clear bloody bronze hue with some off white foam, lace and legs. Aromas are very herbal and noble like hop character, cherry, rich, baked bread. Light tartness. Honey is almost absent. Flavors are medium sweet lots of dark cherry tannins and fruit, dry, low acidic, herbal, very lightly bitter. Sort of a mix of dark cherries and a nice herbal, almost pils or hoppy saison character. Medium dry with similar carbonation. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle. Sweet rich cherry aroma with a light almond note. Deep garnet with a thin white ring. Sweet tart cherry flavor, and a light almond note just as the nose, as well as a light spicy tingle in the finish. Medium body, soft carbonation, slightly dry finish. Light easy drinking mead, not incredibly complex, but still very good.

Bottle: Pours deep, clear ruby with a skim of off-white foam. Aroma is cherry, honey, juicy sweet berry. Flavour is tart cherry, berry.... Honey sweetness blends well with the fruity tart. Slightly medicinal, minty hopping. Excellent.
