Bottle online from The Trembling Madness. Pours chestnut brown with a one finger foamy beige head. Aromas of dry dark fruits, caramel, toasty brown bread and a touch of brown sugar. Taste is the same notes again with added notes of chocolate and hints of roasted malts. Sweetish finish. Nicely balanced. Medium body, average carbonation and oily mouthfeel. Above average Dunkel. Decent Beer.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours clear copper-gold with a small, creamy tan head. Light-medium sweet flavour with toasted busicuuts, subtle caramel, burnt butterscotch, nips of leaves. Light bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced finish. Tasty stuff overall.

Bottle. Clear reddish brown with a near white head that settles to around a cm. Toasted malty aroma with some stewed fruit and light spices. Sweet and bready with some roast, less fruit than suggested by the aroma and a dryish modestly bitter finish.

(Bottle, 0.5 l - BB 11.05.2021, from a supermarket, 20201120) The beer poured brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, malts and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, molasses, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had molasses and bitterness. Too sweet but otherwise decent brew.
