It’s pretty good though perhaps the best thing is the name. The hazelnut is barely noticeable either an aroma or flavor. The body is a touch thin. I like that it’s balanced and it has a pleasant finish.

33cl Bottle from Vonk. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, black liquorice, salmiak, earth, coffee, tar. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, roasted malts, caramel, coffee, liquorice, ashy and hoppy bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Nice, don’t get much hazelnut though.

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Solid espresso head, jet black in the glass, crocheted lacing. Attractive smell of nutty chocolate and dark dough. Blended flavours of hazelnuts, liquorice and chocolate. Lingering roasted bitterness to the finish. Oily palate. Enjoying (Watch the EM cup final between Portugal and France on TV, Tromsø 10.07.2016).

Bottle @ home. Opaque black to pitch black color, full sized decently lacing long lasting creamy beige colored head. Aroma is malts, nuts, dark malts, hazelnuts. Taste malts, hazelnuts and toasted, light roast with a lingering bitterness. Body is medium, carbonation is soft. Nice beer.
