Mama's Little Yella Pils - Our upcoming new canned good is a small-batch version of the beer that made Pilsen, Czechoslovakia famous. Mama's is made with hearty amounts of pale malt, German specialty malts, and a blend of traditional (Saaz) and 21st century Bavarian hops. Our first canned lager, it's also fermented at cool temperatures with a German yeast.
This tasteful reality Czech is the perfect antidote for the watered-down versions of pilsner clogging Americaâ's shelves. And Mama's gentle hopping (about 33 IBUs) and low ABV (just 4.7%) mean we're finally honoring consumer requests for a delicious but less-challenging beer. (Hey, we like a good low-dose session beer, too.) Look for our Gold Metal Winner on US shelves in March.
Sadly, the Feds rejected our Take Two and Call Us in the Morning line on the can.

12 oz can. Crystal clear yellow gold with a small white head. Aroma of grains, breads and corn. Taste is very bready with a nice biter tang. I get toasted tortilla chips in the tasting too. The palate is surprisingly full for a pils style beer. Using this to boil some bratwurst, I will then transfer the brats to a grill and char them a bit. I hope this works--expectations are high.

Aroma malt, sitrus, humle. Utseende tåkete gul/gylden med kremet offwhite skum som holder seg Smak malt, eple, humle, sitrus, tropisk frukt. Malt i starten, frukten kommer fram etterhvert og går over i en fyldig tropisk fruktmix. Boks smakt sept -17

A golden beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has grain, grass, some fruitness of citrus. Taste has maltyness of grain, grass, brying bitterness. Medium bodied. Good, aromatic and with bitterness.

Pours a hazy yellow color with a large white head and great retention. Decent lacing. Citrus and malt aroma. Crisp, but not too sharp pilsner malt flavor with a light citrus hop finish. Clean and easy drinking. Good example of the style.

Pours hazy amber with a fluffy white head. Aroma of grassy hops. Taste has a nice hop element layered on a Pilsen malt backing. Palate has bready elements. Refreshing.
