Mama's Little Yella Pils - Our upcoming new canned good is a small-batch version of the beer that made Pilsen, Czechoslovakia famous. Mama's is made with hearty amounts of pale malt, German specialty malts, and a blend of traditional (Saaz) and 21st century Bavarian hops. Our first canned lager, it's also fermented at cool temperatures with a German yeast.
This tasteful reality Czech is the perfect antidote for the watered-down versions of pilsner clogging Americaâ's shelves. And Mama's gentle hopping (about 33 IBUs) and low ABV (just 4.7%) mean we're finally honoring consumer requests for a delicious but less-challenging beer. (Hey, we like a good low-dose session beer, too.) Look for our Gold Metal Winner on US shelves in March.
Sadly, the Feds rejected our Take Two and Call Us in the Morning line on the can.

Can shared at THT January (Platypus Edition). Clear golden with fluffy white head. Soft flowers, sweet malts, soft citrus, hay, light dust, light lychee, paper. Medium sweet and under medium bitter. Just medium bodied. Decent.

6 3 7 3 13 Can shared at THT January (Platypus Edition). Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of grain, fruity hops, citrus and light malt. Flavour is above light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with moderate carbonation.

Can from Tesco, Aldershot. Foam exploded everywhere when activated the ring pull. Grassy, pine aroma. Light gold. Bubbly (funnily enough). Thick foamy white head (funnily enough). Medium bitter. A crispness to it. Yer standard lager traits but more hoppy. Light bodied. Thin. Fizzy carb. Long if low key finish. Decent enough, just not a favourite style of mine.

Aroma malt, sitrus, humle. Utseende tåkete gul/gylden med kremet offwhite skum som holder seg Smak malt, eple, humle, sitrus, tropisk frukt. Malt i starten, frukten kommer fram etterhvert og går over i en fyldig tropisk fruktmix. Totalt en medium fyldig øl med lett bitterhet og lang fruktig ettersmak. Boks kjøpt på Vinmonopolet Evenskjer. 35,5cl 5,3%

Shared can at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazy golden with white head. Aroma of light bread, herbs, some floral notes. Tastes slightly bitter with some sweetness. Thin bodied, slightly bitter finish.

Can. Pours a clear straw colour with an off-white head. Aroma of pale malt, hay, citrus and grass. The flavour is more grassy with hay and pale malt. Has a slick mouth feel, light body and a medium bitterness. Decent with a nice bitter touch.
