Corked bottle, picked up @ De Bierkoning. Dark brown color. Candied red fruit and a hint of caramel in the aroma. Firm grassy hopbitter flavor with red fruit. Malty sweet, hints of licorice, roast and smoke. Hardly carbonated. Needed more time in the warm room perhaps.

75 cl corked and caged bottle at home. The cork was pushed out a little and there was some small leakage so as soon as I noticed I cooled it well and opened it outside. Big pop of the cork but no gushing. Slight hazy dark amber with enormous fluffy beige head. Sour red fruits, lots of caramel, some cardboard, soft herbs, tart cherries, sweet balsamico, cobwebs, old wood. It’s like a softer and stronger version of a sour red, but followed by some lime and bitter fresh green leaves in the finish. Light sour and medium bitter and sweet. Over medium bodied with lots of fizzy carbonation. This aged quite nice, just got too carbonated, I’m surprised it didn’t gush.

Süßer, hell malziger Start. Alkoholische Noten, Karamell. Im Mittelteil stellt das Karamell das wichtigste Aroma dar, die Süße ist noch aushaltbar, mir aber dennoch zu stark. Süß holziger Malz. 8/7/8/7/9/7
