Botttle courtesy of Deanso. Poured a clear dark amber with little life. The aroma is light sweet hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with rich woody resin hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Really lifeless. Nice but I’d like some bubbles with my beer.

Bottle @ PINT Winterbier 2015, small sample. Almost clear amber to copper color, short frothy head. Aroma of slight harsh roast (weiig), sweet caramel, fruity hops, bit citrus. Like a typical American Strong Ale perhaps. Medium sweet in taste, medium bitter. Reminding me quite much of the Rooie Dop USA. A bit too harsh on the roast (special B?) perhaps, but very enjoyable.
