Bottle pour from Total Wine & More, Danvers. It's a clear golden yellow with nice sparkle, thin cap of off-white head with poor retention and no lacing. Nice crown on the green bottle. Aroma is strong skunk. Taste is strong mix of pilsner malts and skunk. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, SKUNK! Is this from too long in a green bottle or just not great in the first place? Not enjoyable.

So excited to find random country tick on today’s errands. Deep gold and one finger head. Nose is terrible sour malt and industrial grease. Tastes like licking used auto parts, some malt and hops maybe some hay. Blah but yay!

Pretty standard cheap lager, smells worse than it tastes.

33cl bottle from FreshMed supermarket Etterbeek, Brussels. F: almost medium white yet not long lasting. C: gold, bit hazy. A: sweet malty, sweet grainy. T: sweet grainy bit toast, bit fruity, some bitterness, soft carbonation, strange, hardly drinkable.

Maybe Kotayk lager but ABV is different. Smell - weak, maybe hops. Foam - exploded a bit of opening so it seems like large-ish head. White color. Thin, some bitter-sweet notes, and hops and kind of non-alco feel to it. Sticks. Appearance - unique Kotayb bottle cap, kind of reminds me of Latvian Kokmuiza. The bottle is simple though, their crowns engraved in an actual glass. Clear yellow, orange amber, weak carbonation. From - pint glass Taste - weak bitter-sweetness, some malt, and some hops. Reminds me of Russian lagers, nothing special, bitter-sweetness does not work for me to be honest.

Bottle. Golden color, frothy head. Cole slaw aroma. Grain and apple in the flavor, with a light character of skimmed milk and old hops.

[50cl bottle from a liquor store in Buena Park, CA.] A pale straw coloured pour with a loose white head; floral aroma with some yeast; odd floral taste, quite dry and not unattractive with a grainy body and a touch of grassy bitterness; and then something spicy in the finish. Odd, I won't be rushing to get another one.
