330ml bottle. Jet black colour with small to average, creamy, fading, tan head, a slimey grafting floats on top. Roasty, spicy, dark malty aroma, hints of Bourbon and vanilla, dark caramel, smoky, ashy and peaty overtones. Taste is roasty, slightly smoky, peaty, spicy, dark and caramel malty, hints of tar, peat, salt, minimally agressive, bitter hoppy counterpart; lingering finish with a minimaly warming, alcoholic touch. Full body, viscous texture, sticky palate.

330 ml bottle. Pours black with short tan head. Aromas of licorice, dry datk chocolate and sharp roasted malts. Flavors of salty dark chocolate, licorice, soya sauce, espresso and dry roasted malts. Something herbal/floral as well, but hard to pin down. Very good.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. A huge massive literlly unbelievable gusher. I lost 2/3 of the 330ml bottle and there is now a massive brown stain on my hotel room beige carpet which I will probablty have to pay for. There was some serious fermentation going on inside this bottle!! What was left poured a clear dark brown with a fizzy, short-lived ight tan head. The aroma is caramel roasty malt, chocolate and coffee. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth rich red berry ruit, oily, sweet, coffee, chocolate, alcohol bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with massive carbonation.

Creamy brown, beige head. Toasty toffee aroma, chocolate and some apple povidlo. Taste is boozy but not too much so, cocoa, bitter chocolate, milky and creamy. Soy sauce and lots of umami. Nice chocolaty dry finish.
