Jaipur X uses all the same ingredients as our flagship IPA, Jaipur, but amped up to create an incredible Imperial IPA. It delivers an explosion of grapefruit and lemon in the aroma. The body brings the perfect balance which Jaipur is known for, with a light honey and apricot sweetness that works in harmony with the refined hoppy bitterness. The Strengthened abv adds to the complexity with a hint of navel orange and an enveloping warmth on the finish.
Hops - Chinook, Centennial, Ahtanum, Simcoe, Columbus & Cascade.
Malt - Low Colour Maris Otter & Wheat Malt.

500ml bottle. Slightly milky, orangey, deep golden colour with small to average, thick, fluffy, fairly lasting and lacing, white head. Piney, resinous, citrusy, tropical fruity aroma, hints of candied orange peel, tangerine, lemon, passion fruit, a sweaty and funky touch. Taste is juicy, citrusy fruity, hoppy, notes of marmalade, lemon, tangerine, bitter orange zest, a touch of passion fruit and mango purée. Quite drinkable for its high abv, though the full body should be alarming. Not that bad...

Lantern Hall, Brooklyn tap: pours somewhat hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is tropical fruit and sugar. Taste is somewhat sweet. I don’f know if the trip across the sea was really good for it. Kind of thick. Not too much brightness or even bitterness. I mean it was fine, but not impressed.

Hazy orange pour with a decent amount of head. Nice aroma, with a ton of pineapple, though the alcohol is present in there too. The taste is rich and balanced, with pineapple and passion fruit, together with pine, on top of a sweet body. My biggest problem with this beer is the alcohol, and not the ABV, but the fact that it is so present in the aroma and the taste.

Bonito color pajizo, vainilla, nebulosa. Aroma rico, muy cítrico, lima, naranja. Sabor equilibrado, miel, cítricos. No aparenta tanto alcohol. Amargor notable, sin exagerar. Final más calórico. Muy bebible.

500ml bottle, shared with no one: BBD 2nd Feb 16. Poured into a UK pint sleeve at home on 20th Nov 15. Sediment left the bottle, so I got a cloudy, dull golden bodied beer, the head a full and deep white blanket. Hops leap out at you in the aroma and taste, floral, piny and strong{ the taste follows the same lines. Hop centric from start to finish with a heavy alcohol presence in the mouth. Do I like it compared to the price? Just about, will think more before buying ’Special beers’ from these guys.

Bottle from Berts Bierhuis Biltstraat, BB 11.03.16, large sample. Clear golden color, medium frothy head. Aroma is bit flowery, slight citrussy, bit cookie. Soft bitter in taste, firm malty sweetness, getting towards a light colored barley wine even. Focused on makt and alcohol it seems and lacks a bit of hop aroma. Tasty stuff still.
