23/XII/18 - 33cl bottle from a trade, shared with Bouvier @ home, BB: 1stQ/IV/19 - (2018-2011)
Clear red brown beer, small irregular creamy beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots and lots of peppermint, soft roast, lots of chocolate. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots and lots of peppermint, chocolate, soft roast, caramel, bit sweet. Aftertaste: more peppermint, dark chocolate, bitter touch, sweet, caramel, sweet. In all honesty, the best peppermint stout I've had so far…

Bouteille 33cl de BBP, BB 02/2019. Brune foncée, presque noire, col fin beige. Damn this is harsh, like brushing your teeth while eating a chocolate mousse.

Tap. Opaque dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is super after eight, chocolate and mint like it should be. Taste is smooth after eight, nice aromatics. Velvety mouthfeel with natural carbonation, maybe a touch too watery mouthfeel. I love the pure After Eight flavour profile, but it's a bit too watery for 7%

Sampled at swaff 2018. Thnx for sharing. Everyone ! Pours very dark brown. Smell is toothpaste. Intense. Month. Taste is sharp. Linthy. Intense. Crazy unbalanced. This is really. Really overkill on the toothpaste side. Throat burning much mint. Why????

F: thin, pale tanned, not long lasting. C: dark brown, opaque. A: chocolate mint, bit herbal, bit cocoa. T: dark malts, chocolate mint, mint candy, mint aftertaste, medium body and low carbonation, this is not for everyone but for me ok, easy drinkable, enjoyed, 33cl bottle from the brewery.

Thank you for sharing! Sampled draft @ Swafff 2018. Black, mocha head. Nose is like toothpaste, spearmint, Listerine with chocolate. Tastes like it was blended with Listerine, chocolate, spearmint toothpaste,… Listerine & cheap chocolate body, awful.

Dark brown with thin head. Aroma and flavour are like mouthwash. Some chocolate too. Awful.

Tap at Kaapse Anniversary. Hazy dark brown with small beige head. “Some peppermint”, mint, peppermints. Liquid mint juice. There’s nothing else here really, just peppermints. Peppermint sweet and bitter. Peppermint bodied. Peppermint. I give this peppermint out of 5.

7 3 7 3 13Draft at Kaapse 4th Anniversary Festival ‘18. Hazy brown with a ring tan head. Aroma of massive mint, like eating a peppermint. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

18/05/2018 - draught tasting glass @BBP Taproom. Black colour, small beige head. Nose is dark malts, mint, licorice. Taste is licorice, caramel, milk chocolate, mint, dry ending because of the mint. I'm not a mint lover but I can't say I didn't enjoy in some way. Not an easy beer to drink as such but I can imagine this as a small drink to go with a desert or something like that.
