Named for our grandfather, who was lovingly called "The Master". Its unforgettable character mirrors that of the legendary urban figure of "The Master". It's a fresh, fruity IPA that is perhaps not as bitter and makes it pleasing to drink. Merkur, Nelson and Citra hops.

Shared bottle. Slight hazy orange golden with big white head. Light roasted malts with fresh brown bread, lots of fruits with orange, mango, grapefruit, ginger, grassy. Some yeast, but mainly on the nose. Medium sweet with medium bitter towards the finish. Roasted notes throughout. Medium bodied. Nice stuff!

Bouteille 33cl, BB 04/12/2016. Dorée sur un léger toruble, col blanc crémeux tenac. Arôme est houblonné et fort agréable. Retrouve un côté agrumes - pamplemousse, Cascadien avec un agrume perçant plus en rétro. Note aussi une pointe de cônes et un bouquet levure belge mais qui appuie les effluves qui se dégagent sans pour cela dominer. Chose que d’autres devraient apprendre à faire. Palais est également bien houblonné sous ses accents belges, Viven offre une autre IPA de très bonne facture avec un houblonné parfait offrant un fruité de pamplemousse voire de Pomello. Le malt reste plus en retrait et permet aux houblons de prendre une belle place. On peut également en déduire que l’accord brasseur et expérience de Proef en matière d’IPA et de travail sur les houblons font bon ménage.

33cl bottle from AbcBeers. Thin creamy white head. Lovely tropical fruit aroma. Cloudy golden pour. Lovely bitteness. Another great beer from Viven. Keep up the good work. Never a bad beer from this brewery only good or excellent

Bottle shared thanks to Deanso. Pours cloudy orange with a bubbly white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, peach, papaya, light citrus, grapefruit and light pine notes. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Thanks! Sampled draft 330 ml. bottle sampled @ BBF 2014. Dark orange, little bubbles. Nose is apricot, peach hops, lots of fruity hops, light orange hops. Taste is exotic fruit hops, dough, bread, light bitter orange, peach hops, lots of very fruity hops,… Body is a touch watery,… Still a very lovely IPA that would cause a craze if it were to be released in the USA.

Cloudy beige beer, small aery white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of exotic fruits, pineapple, malty, mango. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: wow, very nice! Bit sweet, caramel, very fruity, mango, citrus, bitter. Aftertaste: pretty resinous, piny, citrus, some grapefruit, pineapple, passion fruits.

Bottle from De Hopduvel. New brew, fresh IPA. Cloudy blond colour, white foam. Floral and fruity aroma. Pineapple and passion fruit. Crispy. Notes of grapefruit. Light sweet, long bitter aftertaste. Very good IPA.
