Named for our grandfather, who was lovingly called "The Master". Its unforgettable character mirrors that of the legendary urban figure of "The Master". It's a fresh, fruity IPA that is perhaps not as bitter and makes it pleasing to drink. Merkur, Nelson and Citra hops.

Tap at Camba in Munich. Amber-brown, cloudy, high fine head. Nose is grapefruit, caramel, metals, peaches, maybe some diacetyl. Thin body. Funky tropical fruits, minerals, durian and grapefruit with caramel. Not so great, and doesnβt compare to beers I had from them in Belgium.

330 ml bottle shared by Werckmeister at RB Tasting Vienna March Edition. Thanks!
Orange, hazy body, with a medium, creamy, white head.
Aroma of citrus, lots of peach, tropical fruits, some grass, some pine, yeast.
Taste follows this prety much.
Medium mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes medium bitter, a bit dry, zesty, yeasty, fruity.
Very nice. Well balanced, very fruity, but still not too sweet. Apart from subtle yeast notes I didnβt notice much Belgian character. Overall I was expecting a bit more maybe, because of the high ratings, but an enjoyable IPA nonetheless.

Tap at tap-house Munich. Kiwi, onion, pine and citrus nose. Light murky Amber, golden head. Medium light body, mellow sparkly. Nice flavors, but flavors are a bit all over the place. Could be cleaner

Bottle. Hazy orange color with medium white head. Nice hoppy aroma. Oranges, tangerines, orange zest in hoppy taste with solid malty backbone, Belgian yeast. Long hoppy bitter finish.

Keg at Munich Tap House, 24th March 15. Good hoppy aroma. Taste is clean and bitter hop forward. I do get a little distinctive Belgian yeast, which is not my preference, but does not distract from a very decent IPA, although it not as good as the imperial

Shared bottle. Slight hazy orange golden with big white head. Light roasted malts with fresh brown bread, lots of fruits with orange, mango, grapefruit, ginger, grassy. Some yeast, but mainly on the nose. Medium sweet with medium bitter towards the finish. Roasted notes throughout. Medium bodied. Nice stuff!
