Cask at Pelt Trader, Dowgate Hill, London. A straw coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Sweet, malty aroma. Tastes malty, slightly hoppy, slightly sweet, caramel. Nice easy drinker.

33cl bottle, batch 034, BBE 05/13. Poured hazy amber with a thick white head. Floral, citrusy aroma, with some rubber as well. Flavor has citrusfruits, quite intense really, hints of sweet caramel and malt. Finish is short and bitter. Light body. Decent.

Cask (gravity) @ The 18th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2012, Reading, Berkshire England.Clear medium yellow orange colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, citrus, malty, sharp hops, toffee notes, plastic notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120503]

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell, London, 24 Nov 2012) Golden colour with brief, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, tropical fruit and fresh floral hops. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of tropical fruit, citrus, passion-fruit and a fresh citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Nice and refreshing.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a cloudy yellow with a broken white head and some broken lace. The aroma is really rather strong and somewhat overpowering which isn’t such a bad thing. It has an amazing grassy floral hoppy pine needle nose. Its very special. The flavour is bitter floral and hoppy. It’s truly refreshing. A superb beer for today!

Golden, clear, dense white head
Aroma - hoppy citrus zest and a hint of sponge cake mix Taste - mellow citrus hops, nice zest, hint of cake mix, well balanced, good flavour, soft sweet pale malts in the background but the hops are dominant. It has a good flavour even though it’s quite simple
Palate - medium body, soft and oily, good mouthfeel. Not too bitter or sweet, good balance. Finish as main flavout.
Overall - This was a well made decent golden ale on cask.

Taste: Dried apricot, citrus fruit and caramel malt. The flavours aren’t very powerful, but they’re nicely balanced. Dry, peppery finish.
Palate: Thin to medium body with an oily texture. Soft carbonation.
Overall: Very easy to drink, but not particularly flavoursome.

Half-pint poured from cask into a mug at the excellent Craft Beer Co, Islington. Fragile white head to a clear golden body. Floral fruity nose. Fresh fruity taste containing notes of mild grapefruits upheld by a nice and smooth bitter ending. Tasty (London, 26.11.2012).
