A unique schizophrenic beer where you’ll face off against floral hoppy flavours up front, leading into a dry spicy bitterness on the back. Need something a bit different to wake up your taste buds? It’s time to get a FUBAR!

330 ml bottle. Clear golden body with a light white head that fades rather fast. Quite nice citric fruit aroma. Flavor is mild, light malty, a hint of citric fruit and moderate bitterness. Not very exciting, but refreshing and harmonic.

Bottle. A clear, dark golden body is topped by a dense, off-white head. The aroma is piney, with citrus peel and some biscuity malts. There’s some bitterness in the flavor, as well as the piney and light citrusy hops and pale malts found in the aroma. Medium body with an ok carbonation. A pretty pleasant and decent one. 140110

Bottle picked up Tuesday 15th October 2013 from ’Jacks’, Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon, consumed at home Sunday 20th October 2013 Golden in colour a little haze, white head. Fruity beer, mainly displaying citrus flavours, also a touch spicy. Drank this whikst cooking my notes therefore were rather lacking, enjoyed it though. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

FUBAR (F...d Up Beyond All Recognition): half-pint in Ye Olde Fighting Cocks, Oakengates on 10 Oct 2013. Golden, crisp and sharp: hop bitterness from the start. Wasn’t sure what to expect, it certainly impressed. The aroma was a mixed bag with spicy hops and grains, as was the taste, with the aforementioned hops to the front. Different and interesting, don’t normally have keg style dispensed beers, glad I did on this case.
