Bottle from Wine Warehouse. Pours deep gold with a small white head. Pleasant aroma of citrus hops, indiscernible whether it’s more grapefruit or lemon. Taste is lemony hops, grasses, tropical fruit, some green vegetation.

Bottle, bbe March 17 then below that 15 11 31. I guess this is best before March 2017?? That seems kind of ambitious, but whatever. Drunk 6/8/16.
Deep bronze-copper-golden liquid is topped by a sizeable white head. Tons of small and large sediment ranging from pepper-like particles to big protein chunks....Head is fairly well-retained.
The nose is a bit odd and shows very, very light petrol mixed with some vegetal, green hop notes. Dank and very lightly spicy, there also seems to be light tropical character but it’s very muted/dulled. Light yeast phenols and no alcohol. Whatever’s floating around in there is significantly dulling the aroma.
Not the flavor though....Damn! That’s a serious glass of tropical juice! Rich, sweet, honey-like malts balance massive orange, pineapple, mango and watermelon-like flavors. Very light bitterness adds gentle balance and there’s no sign of alcohol or resin. Ultra-soft, malty texture and a fairly engaging, tight carbonation. Pity about the aroma, but the flavor is right up there with the best juice bombs.

Draught. Light hazy hay yellow liquid with medium white head. Aroma of citrus, grain, bread, toast and earth. Kinda dull and earthy. Taste is very light sweet and light bitter with notes of bread, sugar and citrus. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. What is this, I don’t even. Minimal hop aroma. Tastes like sugar water. Meh.

12 oz bottle poured into a Spiegelau tulip. Hazy orange with about a finger of off-white head. Lots of tiny floating sediment. Aromas of tropical fruit, citrus, floral notes. Tastes of tropical fruit, orange and grapefruit citrus, stone fruit, floral notes, a little herb, subtle pine. Medium body with a semi-dry somewhat crisp finish. Pretty tasty.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 3/2017. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden orange color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, guava, grapefruit, orange peel, pepper, pine, cracker, bread, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of dank citrus/tropical/pine hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and moderate pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, guava, grapefruit, orange peel, pepper, pine, cracker, bread, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus rind bitterness and peppery yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, guava, grapefruit, lemon/orange rind, pepper, pine, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dank citrus/tropical/pine hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and minimal astringent hop flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness, that increases through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, sticky/resinous, and lightly creamy/grainy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice IPA. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of dank citrus/tropical/pine hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and moderate pale malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. Not quite a Belgian IPA. I did get some noticeable yeast qualities, but they did not overpower the hop forward flavors. A very enjoyable offering.

Hazy light golden amber color. Surprising how cloudy this beer is. Big tropical fruit nose. Medium body, modest bitterness. Lots of tropical fruit notes. The hops just linger in the finish. Not overly complex, but enjoyable IPA nonetheless.
