Pint can, BB 02/2018.

Can from The Beerhive. Hazy golden body with tiny flecks floating beneath a thin white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of watermelon and grapefruit. Flavour of honey, grapefruit and a slightly hot finish. Thin to medium body with an oily texture. Light fizz. Pretty solid but I expected better.

Can. Pours a fairly light and slightly hazy gold with a frothy head that dies to a film on my walk up the stairs. Aromas are a bit light for the style... kind of a nondescript resinous hops presence and a little bit of honey biscuit presence from malt is about it. Flavor is a little grainy up front and then transitions into a juicy hops finish. It’s not a strongly assertive hops bomb, but it is nice and juicy. It’s an interesting beer... kind of halfway between IPA and session IPA.
