Bottle from Beer Planet. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are sweet cherry-like syrop, malt, sugar and notes of hops. Sweet and slightly acidic.

Slightly unclear golden colour, white head. Fruity aroma, mirabelle, apricot and sweetener. Very sweet flavour, sweetener, fruit esters. Sweet finish, apricot, sweetener, bit of funky lemonade.

33 cl. bottle sampled @ trainride during RBESG 2013. Thx! to Martinus. Golden with a white head on the sides. I quite like trying these Chapeau beers because they are just hilariously chemical. They are like fun soda’s and this one is certainly no exception. Nose is very sweet candy, sugar, just a bunch of peach (Mirabelle I assume?) candy. Taste is as usual ridiculously sweet, full of extracts, tastes like soda additives, crazily sweet chemicals, pure cany, not much else. Slightly creamy. I cannot get more notes out of this one & I am fairly certain that the people getting lambic notes are slightly crazy. Have you tried you De Troch lambic? It tastes like rotting grains & spoiled yoghurt.

Bottle at home, done from memory, rating is just for my own. I will edit if I drink it again, interesting beer, was drinkable, but gave it to my mother who liked it more.

25cl bottle at home cloudy orange, smooth offwhite head. aroma is slightly bitter, citrussy, faint sweet sort of flowery note like honey. flavor is quite sour and citryssy, with an added exotic fruity note , mirabelle can be tasted actually, and it’s not cloying as I had feared. quite nice taste, although somehow comes through as a little artificial. The lambic tartness shows a little in the aftertaste, making it quite complex .

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy golden with airy white head. Clear fruity aroma, most likely one of apples, with some vinous touches. Sweet, cheap fruity onset, violently replaced by a very vinous body, which never seems to disappear. Quite unbalanced but definitely drinkable.

Bottle, Deeside Drink Emporium. It pours cloudy golden yellow, with a quickly dissipating off-white head. The nose is sweet yellow plum, plum skin, some tanginess, sugar and tinned fruit. The taste is sweet plum, tangy, red grape, syrupy tinned fruit, hint of sherbet, sweet-sour aspect and white sugar with a rather sweet finish. Medium body, low carbonation and cloying mouth-feel. One-dimensional sweet tangy plum beer pretty much sums it up. Truth be told this wasn’t quite as bad as I was expecting...at least there is some sourness.

(Bottle, 0.25 l, 20120704, courtesy of FatPhil) The beer poured golde and a bit hazy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had green apples, sweetness and sun protection cream. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were earth, orange, sweetness and low bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet. Sweet and weird brew.
