Clear golden color and a white head. Malty and hoppy. Honey, peachy and yeasty bananas. A little too Sweet.

Bottle. Blonde, hazy. Grassy notes in the aroma. Malty sweetish grassy flavor, bready with hints of chloride and toffee. pleasant.

Flasche bei Metro. Helles, klares Gold-Gelb. Fester Schaum. Frisches Aroma, Zitrus, Hopfen, Malz, Birne. Voller Antrunk, aber zu schwere Malzsüsse im Antrunk.

Aroma: Sweet corn and fruits. Flavour: Sweet fruits with notes of pineapple and a sticky sweet aftertaste. Colour: Amber with a white head. From: Bottle @ Citti Flensburg Apr. 2018.

Bottle at King's Head, Guildford. 16/11/17. Funky barnyard aroma, with added fruit. An opaque hazy gold. Thin but creamy white head. Light bitter for a millisecond. Then takes on a savoury dough taste with a sweet finish. Light bodied and thin. Fizzy carbonation. Long sweet cream chees finish. Couldn't work out if this one was nice or odd. Both, really.

Flasche (50 cl) vom Edeka am Prager Platz, Berlin-Wilmersdorf. - Orangegelb, leicht trüb. - In der Nase etwas mattes, breit süßes Karamelmalz mit bocktypischer Schwere (Alkohol kann man doch riechen!) und schwacher Trockenaprikose. - Antrunk breit hellmalzig mit Karamel, Sahnebonbons, mildem Honig, getrockneten Aprikosen und gut integrierter, nicht zu knapper Kräutertee-artiger Herbe. Mild rezent, breit vollmundig; spürbare aber nicht störende alkoholische Schwere. Im Abgang schöne Balance von Honig und milder Herbe. - Schön austarierter, komplexer aber süffiger heller Bock, nicht so knackig gehopft wie die besten fränkischen Vertreter seines Typs aber sehr schmackhaft.

Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and alcohol, leading to a dry finish.
