330ml bottle. Almost opaque, darkest brown colour with weak ruby shimmer and small, creamy, fading, moderately lacing, dark beige head. Sweet-ish, minimally toasty, malty and yeasty fruity aroma, notes of dried fruit, raisin, date, some treacle, a touch of cherry. Taste is sweet, minimally toasty and chocolately, dark malty, yeasty fruity and minimally yeasty spicy, notes of treacle, molasses, dried fruit, raisin, date, plum, a touch of vanilla, cinnamon, marmite; well hidden alcohol.
Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation.
Very sweet and fruity, surprisingly light and dangerously drinkable - not bad.

I hold a 33 cl bottle obtained from Belgian Happiness earlier this year. The label shows the brew was put up in 01/2019 if aging makes any difference. I lift the cap before making a pour inside of my Cowtown snifter. The view is a coppery, caramel liquid with a here-and-gone top of very fine, taupe bubbles. The nose is heavy with ripe fruit with a yeasty background, nothing unusual. But the drink, now, this is going a different direction. Sweet red cherries, dates, sorghum, biscuit, malt and raisins. I get a first impression of significant sweetness but there is a slight amount of bitterness concluding. Depend upon White Pony to take a quad not the usual direction. Their brews don’t always work for me but when they do, it can be pretty interesting.

On tap at The Castle, Mitte, Berlin, Thurs' 5th August 2021 with Blondie on in the background and all of the windows pulled right back, ooh it's Carole King on now. Pours dark reddy brown, good clarity with an off white, cappuccino coloured head. You can tell this is clearly a big Belgian styled beer, however it's carrying a little too much residual sweetness, lot's of caramel, toffee and a little spice a touch heavy on the boozy edge, soft moutheel. Fine.

Vergorener Fruchtgeruch, reife Banane, süßes dunkles Malz. 10/10/8/8/6/8

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Roast and a hint of salted licorice in the aroma. Full bodied. Malty sweet roasty flavor with dried fruit and salted licorice. The alcohol is there, but the beer is smooth enough.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy, deep nutty rown with a small, creamy yellowish head. Caramellish nose, rock sugar, booze, oxidized dried fruits. Rich, potent, sweet body with loads of syrup and brown sugars. Dark, dried fruits, somewhat spicy. Warming finish. Nice enough, but not the world's most complex Quad. 160119
