Aus der Flasche 2015-08 getrunken. Fett, dunkel, süß - so muß ein belgischen Quadrupel sein. Wunderbar!

Quite thin for the heavy alcohol content, quite boozy. Nothing overly off about it, but nothing special either. 2017 beer advent calendar

Amber color. Caramel arom aand stronger caramel flavor, some malt depth, sweet, the yeast esters are quite sweet and fruity, but a nutty character balances them. The alcohol is well hidden.
Very good Belgian Strong.

330mL bottle, pours a dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out candied sugar, esters, bubblebum and light toffee. Flavour is along the same lines, with candied sugar, toffee, caramel and light esters. Not an authentic quad by any means - sweet and lacking the depth of a proper quad. But it's pleasant.

Medium brown. No head. Nose is a bit sticky, bit fruity, and with a touch of alcohol. On the palate, some dark sugars, touch of alcohol, just slight fruitiness. Quite sweet. Not much going on.

330ml bottle. (11.9% ABV) Pours a cloudy red-brown with a small, creamy, short lived, beige head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, prunes, raisins, figs and brown sugar. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, brown sugar, cherry, cranberry, plum, dried fruit, chocolate and spice with warming brandy in the finish. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Very nice, has some complexity and the ABV is well hidden.
