Pours black with a thin tan head. Aroma: liquorice, plums and raisins. Taste: again raisins and plums. Bittersweet palate.

Bottle at DAVO, Deventer. Aroma is dark malt, caramel, wheat, banana, ripe dark fruits, raisins, plum, touch of liquorice, cough drops. Flavour is sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Rich and sweet Weizenbock, enjoyable.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy dark brown colored brew with an mostly dry bitter taste, also some sweetness and faintly some booze. Hints of caramel, raisin and very lightly banana.

Flesje thuis gedronken. Donkerbruin robijnachtige kleur met mooie schuimkraag die als een film blijft liggen. Aroma van donker fruit en krieken. Smaak is zoet, fruitig en licht sprankelend. Nasmaak is ietsje bitter.

Bottle. Deep reddish brown with an inch of pale beige head that fades fast but never disappears. 3+ Malty aroma with toffee, dried and stewed fruit, hints of nut and spices. Not as sweet nor perhaps as deeply flavoured as guessed but pretty much as suggested by the aroma. Dryish, moderately bitter and spicy end. Pleasant enough but I wanted something more for the strength.
