Blond French beer with a thick, off-white, irregular head and a misty ’old gold’ colour. Nose gets grass, orange peel, bread, apples, vanilla, peach, strawberry, yeast. Taste begins freshly fruity, somewhat sweetish, citrus, pineapple, relatively sharp carbonation, mellow and bready maltiness in the middle, bit powdery mouthfeel (yeast), finish a mildly grassy hop bitterness. Decent beer in view of the region it comes from, but more a Belgian blonde than a real bière de garde to me.

Bottled 330ml. -3pack from Geant Albertville. Golden coloured, medium sized white head, odd and not so pleasant nose (something close to rotten beet). All three of a kind were the same. Sweet malty, caramel, discreet hops and some spices with notes of caramel in sweetish finish. So-so.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of fruit, yeast, and some malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, fruits, and nuts, leading to a dry finish - nice. From the name I’d expected smoke - where is that, but still a nice beer.
