Pours a black colour and a stiff, frothy beige to light brown head. Aroma's: roasted malts, woody, sweetish, light whisk(e)y. Retronasal it's sweetish, fruity, light whisk(e)y. Flavour is moderate bittersweet, bitter chocolate. Medium bodied. Long finish, quite bitter.

Bottle. Almost black. Oak, soft roast and caramel in the aroma. Malty sweet, roasty flavor with oak, vanilla and dark chocolate. Low on carbon. I can’t taste much whisky.

Tap at Haagse Biermarkt. Black with tan head. Licorice, dry wood, roasted malts, dry ashy notes, raisins, dry grains. Medium sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied with slick feel.

29 mar 2019 Draft sample at Bierproefavond DAVO bieren - Wijnhuis Ede. Color: Black, beige head. Aroma: Whiskey, roasted malt, hints of licorice. Taste: Whiskey, roasted malt, subtle notes of vanilla, oak, licorice. Full body, below average carbonation. Nice, but some rough edges.

Black beer, small head. Aroma is malt, roast, coffee, chocolate. Taste is the same, bitter, dry, nice one.

Bottle [from trade with RW80] shared @ tasting. Dark brown color with a red brown glare coming through when held into the light. Average sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, raisins quite strongly, dark malts, some chocolate, a hint of wood / oak, fermented grapes / plums and a bit alcoholic. Thin body, decent to medium carbonation. Not very good imo.

Flesje gedeeld door Benzai en gedronken met Roelzie en TomHendriksen. Diep donkerbruin helder bier met rode gloed. Aroma is houtig en rokerig. Smaak van pruimen en caramel. Nasmaak is iets bitter en blijft even hangen.
