Strong nail polish nose, great color, warms up well though to a sourish rye ale.

Pours a lovely deep clear garnet from a bottle, light pink head stays and forms a ring. Aroma of cherry cough syrup and blue cheese, mold, vinegar. Flavor is a sweet-tart wine, with some funk. Very good beer.

750 ml bottle from Mikkeller Webshop, bottled 12/7/16.
Deep ruby body, with a small, slightly pink head.
Aroma of red wine, dark grapes, smooth funk, young cheese, dark berries.
Tastes similar, with more wood.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes smooth, moderate acidic, medium dry, wooden, vinous, fruity, with grapes, apples, pears.
Very tasty. Greatly balanced, very smooth to drink, with lovely vinous notes throughout and a well dosed sourness. Feels very elegant. My favourite one from Bullfrog I've had.
