Tap @ Oudaen. Brown color, medium brown head. Aroma of belgian spicy yeast, soft chocolat, hint of roast, caramel. Medium sweet taste, bit dry. Balance between the malts is pretty good actually and the spicy yeast notes are not too prominent. Also in flavor, it is an easy drinker and thatβs exactly what the abbey styles were supposed to be. Although not my favorite style, this is a great example of it and I am quite surprised by the quality of this small Utrecht based brewery.
