Thanks Jake.
Reviewed from notes.
Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: glossy burnt orange with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: lots of passion fruit, grapefruit pith and pineapple hop tones with some bittersweet grassy hop spice underneath; clean malts
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a super fine bittersweetness all around; finishes passion fruity with some pineapple
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper; light smoothness but a good dose of hop assertiveness
Overall: I've wanted to try this for years and man oh man, thank you more than enough Jake for sending this, you sir are a blessing as so is this beer!

Golden colour and steady small white head. Gasoline nose with citrus. Medium-bodied. Mosaic blackcurrant leaves, some citrus in the flavour. Easy, clean dipa.

Adds a punch of boozy malt sweetness to the normal dry Maine IPA profile, resulting in a wonderfully layered and drinkable DIPA. Citrus and tropical notes on the front end lead to pine and minerals on the back, with a moderate but clingy bitter streak in the fade. Deserves its reputation.

Bottle from J & B Craft Drinks. Color: Hazy orange amber, off-white head. Aroma: Hoppy, citrus, bit piney. Taste: Hoppy, some pine, citrus. Caramel malt. Quite smooth mouthfeel. Medium body, average carbonation. Moderate sweet, over moderate going to medium bitterness at dry-ish finish. Nice.

Bottle at home from J and B Craft Drinks, Amsterdam, 12th November 23. This was part of a huge haul, last week. Pours a deep golden and off clear, large and firm head, aroma is very resinous, pine, citrus and aromatic, light burnt malts and sugars, taste is pine, resinous, with buttery malts interwoven, some assertive malt backbone and a good level of citrus and hop bitterness. It’s very classical and very well made and balanced, good DIPA

Hoppy and fruity, tropical fruit, a bit of citrus, some pine resin. A touch sweet but nicely bitter, rich, smooth, clean, beautifully in balance. I'm sure I'm biased by the hype and ratings but this is delicious.
