On draught at Gallo's Tap Room. The beer is a hazy golden color with a medium thick white head that dissipates gradually to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Piney hops, citrus and malt in the nose. Medium to full body with flavors of piney hops, zesty grapefruit and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering resiny and piney hop aftertaste. Good beer all around.

On tap at Jimmy's Culpeppers. Appearance is hazy dark yellow, with no discernible sparkle, finger-width foamy pillowy white head with good retention and nice lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, pine with a little bit of citrus. Taste is as aroma. Palate is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, strong across the board. Very good and may have set the standard at some point, though doesn't seem unusual or that unique now.

Subtle and well done, though not quite superior. Notes of pine and perfume like a date in thr mountains. Hazy orange pour with good head and lacing. Bitter end. A fair amount of malt like Donnie said, but I think that just shows there is actually a full beer underneath the hops barrage. Tap at Churchkey event.

On tap at Maine Beer, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lightly dank hops, with lots of pine, plenty of resins and light biscuity malt. Flavour is robust, with a big wallop of resinous and piney hops upfront, with ample dankness and a moderately oily palate. Little malt sweetness, which is how I like it, but there is certainly malt support structure to prevent much residual bitterness. Excellent.

Bottle. A- Orange marmalade, dreamsicle bar. A- Golden orange color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Orange juice, mild bitterness, dreamsicle ice cream. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- This very well may top Pliny and Hopslam. Certainly doesn’t feel like a DIPA. Drinks too easily and loaded with orange flavors. Good stuff. Had a month after bottling. Was great at Dinner with some sausage, kale, and white bean soup.

Pours a very hazy, yellow-orange, not unlike fresh-squeezed orange juice. Minimal head. Aroma full of citrus and tropical fruits, with more than a little hop presence as well. Flavor is very smooth and well balanced, with citrus (grapefruit) and tropical notes, as well as some hoppy bitterness. But it’s not too bitter--there’s a sweet finish and soft mouthfeel to the whole enterprise. Very, very good beer.
