Lichtbruin troebel bier met mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is fris fruitig zoet met veel fruit, met name banaan en sinaasappel. Erg goed.

Draughg @ Poseidon, Rottendorf. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of wheat, yeast, sweet fruit, banana, light citrus. Flavor is light sweet, wheat, yeast, fruit, banana, citrus. Medium body, average carbonation, light sweet finish. 200725

Hazy blond colour, creamy white foam. Nose of banana, a bit malty, wheat, citrussy. Easy drinkable. Good Hefeweizen!

Gekochte Früchte, Getreide, ein Hauch Wermut / Likör. Interessant. Könnte trotz anständiger 5,4 % Alk. noch etwas geschmacksintensiver sein. Extrem feinperlige Kohlensäure - allerdings zu viel davon. Doch durchaus ganz schmackhaft.

Bottle shared at Korntal. As “Distelhauser Weizen Hell - 5.4%” with orange and green label. Hazy golden with white head gently and skillfully poured by Michael. Sweet grainy and banany, light bubblegum coating and soft doughy. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel. Decent stuff.

Very creamy white head. Nice hazy golden color. Excellent bananas and cloves in the nose. Smooth mouth, Cloves, banana and spice. Smooth full bodied. Amazing depth. Top 10 hefes I’ve ever had. Having on draft in Rothenburg just off the main square at an top restaurant with a nice garden in late July. Perfect

Bottle. Best before Oct 31, 17 on back label. Classic to the style in every regard. Proper glassware shows a hazy golden color with a solid amount of carbonation. Aroma is the banana, clove, and wheat that comes from a pure German yeast strain.
I know that this style beer doesn’t get much love but... It is spot on the style and drinks easy. Lightly sweet flavor. The banana, light clove/yeasty body and bubble gum are balanced. The finish has a slightly dry texture. My fresh bottle treated me well.
